A couple holiday to Morocco went terribly wrong for a British couple who both fell to their deaths from different buildings on different days while on holiday in the resort town of Essaouira. Mathilde Lamb, 44, fell from the window of an apartment but the details around what caused her fall are still under investigation. A few days later, Roger Lamb also died in a separate fall.

The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) is providing assistance to the family, including the couple's four children. The couple's four sons are being cared for by relatives in the UK. Mystery still surrounds the deaths, but mounting evidence suggests that money worries and marital problems may have been to blame. Mathilde fell to her death just hours after the couple's arrival in Morocco, and some passers-by had overheard yelling coming from the apartment that evening.
